Peg City Basketball serves as the premier hub for competitive youth basketball in the Greater Winnipeg Area and surrounding communities. Founded in 2015, Peg City is dedicated to providing a platform where club teams can showcase their talent and compete at the highest level.
Our flagship programs are the Peg City Showcase League and the Peg City Club Basketball League (CBL).
Showcase provides the platform for high-calibre club players (14U-17U) to compete at the highest level, showcasing the talent and training they’ve honed.
CBL provides a platform for middle school club players (10U-13U), offering a competitive environment for athletes to develop their skills and prepare for the next level of play.
As a non-profit organization, we are driven by our passion for the game and our commitment to the youth we serve. Our partner clubs work tirelessly to create an environment where every player can reach their full potential both on and off the court.
Peg City Basketball is guided by the principle that a rising tide lifts all boats. We firmly believe that collaboration and collective effort are essential for fostering growth and excellence in the sport we love. Our core belief is that by working together with organizations and clubs throughout Winnipeg and the surrounding areas, we can create a supportive and thriving basketball community.
We are committed to partnering with local entities to enhance the quality of our programs, elevate the level of competition, and provide unparalleled opportunities for young athletes. By combining our efforts and resources, we aim to build a strong, cohesive network that drives the growth of basketball in our city and inspires players to reach their full potential.
Through this collaborative approach, we strive to lift the entire basketball community, ensuring that every player, team, and organization benefits from our collective success.
Join us at Peg City Basketball, where top club teams converge to test their skills and young athletes come to play, learn, and succeed!
